Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport Wins APBF Brand Award

Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport was awarded The BrandLaureate 2008-2009 for Product Branding under the Airport Hotel category, at the awards ceremony last week. The event was attended by Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Presented by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF), The BrandLaureate honors branding excellence amongst multinationals, public listed and government linked companies in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region. Being conferred The BrandLaureate Award is a defining moment as it is a testimony of the success of the Pan Pacific brand, a leading hotel chain in Asia and North America. It is also an endorsement of being with the best and is a further acknowledgment of the brand’s value to provide personalized service with attention to detail for hotel guests.

In selecting Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport for this award, The APBF noted the hotel’s ability in “displaying best branding practices that have assisted in the development of the organization growth.”

Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport, owned by KL Airport Hotel Sdn Bhd; a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports was also recognized by APBF with The BrandLaureate award for KLIA, Corporate Branding - Best Brands in Transportation. This is the third time that Malaysia Airports won this award and Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur International Airport is proud to receive The BrandLaureate together with our owners.

The BrandLaureate Awards is the only Brand Award endorsed by His Royal Highness Duli Yang Maha Mulia Yang Di Pertuan Agung, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.
