Kansai Internaitional Airport is located on an artificial island in Osaka Bay off the shore of Sennan and Izumisano. The airport serves as a hob forall Nippon Airways, Japan Airways and Nippon Cargo Airlines.

Kansai Airport has become a major Asian hub with nearly 500 flights to Europe and the Middle East and 35 weekly flights to North America.
