This airport is 35km from the city centre and is the 14th busiest airport in China by passenger numbers. It is also a large cargo hub. A second terminal is due to be built by 2013 raising capacity to 30 million passengers per year.

China Eastern Airlines run flights to most Chinese cities and many other domestic carriers operate services from here.

Internationally Asiana Airlines fly to Seoul, Lufthansa to Frankfurt and Mandarin Airlines to Taipei.

Cargo carriers offer domestic and inernational services to the USA.
