Hohhot Baita International Airport is 14km east of the city of Hohhot. It is capable of handling 3 million passengers per year and operates flights to 28 Chinese cities.

Internationally it runs flights to Ulan Bator (Aero Mongolia) and charter flights to Russia and Thailand.
