Opened in 1997 this modern airport serves Guiyang in Guizhou. Nearly 6 million passengers travelled through this airport in 2009 and a new terminal building is underway to increase capacity to 15million.

The only 'international' flights (classed as international by this airport) are to Hong Kong. A total of 18 different domestic airlines operate flights to many Chinese cities.
